What! Why? is an experimental short comedy film about a man trying desperately to understand his bizarre drug trip, taking him on an absurd journey through Brooklyn. It will be publicly available by the end of the year.
SNAP
Shot in February of 2018, Snap, is a 4 minute, black and white, horror film without dialogue. Shot, edited and directed by Ryland Swartz, written by Fabian Valenz. It was selected to screen at the 2018 Bleedingham Film Festival as well as U-Horror Fest, where it won Best Psychological Horror.

KILL THE DEVIL
Kill the Devil is a short film, written and directed by Ryland Swartz, about an uncompromising young writer/actress who tries to pitch a new screenplay but can't get anyone to listen. The film has screened at the Los Angeles Film and Script Festival, the California Women's Film Festival, and The Independent Cinema Showcase.

A Nice Pair of Pants is a feature length, screwball comedy, film, written and directed by Ryland Swartz. Completed in 2016. It is not publicly available at present.
A comedy in the style and spirit of old screwballs. A stuffy young man named David intends to propose to his girlfriend one evening when a flighty eccentric young woman accidentally ruins his suit. Her attempts to help him continually backfire, and she soon entangles him in a wacky adventure, full of misunderstandings and mischief.
